Production Times & Guaranteed Deadlines

Here's how our current production timelines work:

Free Standard Turnaround

Your order will leave our Miami facility 10 business days after final approval, and will ship via UPS Ground.

The 10 business day clock starts after both payment is received and your proofs are fully approved.

If you need your order sooner, we also offer:

Rush Production

7 business day turnaround

Super Rush Production

5 business day turnaround

Delivery Timeframe

Once your order ships via UPS Ground, delivery typically takes 1-5 business days, depending on how close you are to our print shop in Miami, Florida.

Hat Patches: Extended Production Timeline

Custom hat patches require significantly longer production time due to specialized manufacturing

Important: Patches Have Different Timelines

Unlike our standard embroidery and screen printing services which are done in-house, hat patches are custom manufactured items that require specialized production processes. This means they take considerably longer to produce.

Need Your Order Faster?

If you need your order within our standard 5-10 business day timeframe, we recommend choosing embroidery or screen printing decoration methods instead. Both options are done in-house and qualify for our standard production timelines including Rush (7 days) and Super Rush (5 days) options.

How to Place an Order

1Ordering directly through our website

When you place an order yourself through our site, you'll pay at checkout first.

After payment, your artwork enters our proofing queue.

  • It usually takes 2-3 business days after payment to receive your first print-ready proof.
  • You can then either approve the proof or request changes.
  • If you request revisions, please allow 1-2 business days for an updated proof.

If you're on a tight schedule and need your proof sooner, email kyle@swago.com and we'll do our best to speed it up.

For the free standard turnaround, your order will ship 10 business days after you approve your final proof for production.

2Requesting a proof before paying

If you prefer to see a proof before committing to an order, you can email kyle@swago.com to request one.

Please note:

  • Paid orders (Method 1) are proofed first, so this option can take a bit longer.
  • Once you're happy with the proof and ready to move forward, we'll send you a custom checkout link that includes your approved artwork.
  • From that link, you'll enter your sizes, complete payment, and confirm your order in one step.

Because proofing happens in advance with this method, your order using the free standard turnaround will ship 10 business days after you pay via your custom link.

Hard Deadlines

Please remember:

Production does not begin until your order is both paid for and your proof is approved for production. Be sure to account for this when planning your in-hands date.

If you have a firm, non-flexible deadline:

    Email kyle@swago.com with your order number and your required in-hands date.

    We will:

    • Review your order's selected turnaround and confirm the estimated delivery date.
    • Let you know if upgrading to a faster production option and/or expedited UPS shipping is needed to meet your deadline, and send pricing and an additional invoice if you'd like to proceed.
  3. 3

    Please keep in mind:

    • Faster production and upgraded shipping are not always available and depend on our current production capacity and where your order is in the process.
    • If we determine your requested deadline is not achievable, we'll let you know and offer options to cancel your order if needed.
